
UNF falls to Weber State

EL PASO, Texas - Weber State's Natalie Blaylock scored unassisted in the 33rd minute to boost Weber State to a 1-0 win over the University of North Florida women's soccer team on Friday in the UTEP Miner Classic.
Weber State (1-1) out-shot the Ospreys (1-1-1) 23-8 for the game, including a 13-3 edge in the opening period.
Blaylock's goal came at the 32:07 mark as she controlled a rebound off a shot and pushed the ball past UNF keeper Rachael Howard for her 18th career goal.
Rebecca Ritchie posted four saves to earn her first shutout of the 2007 season. Howard, meanwhile, ran up a total of 10 saves for North Florida.
UNF will return to action at the Miner Classic on Sunday when it faces off against Portland State at noon ET.
