
Track ends day one of Pepsi Relays

GAINESVILLE, Fla.- Day one of the UF/Pepsi Relays was a short one for the University of North Florida women's track and field team, as they only competed in two events, while the men's team sat day one out.
The first event of the day was the high jump college B section, which saw junior sensation Emily Kohler take second place with a height of 1.63m. In the A section of the high jump Amy Stroder tied her career high in the event with a height of 1.70m, earning her fifth place.
The Ospreys return to action Saturday, where they will compete in the 5000m run, javelin throw and the 4x400m . The first event begins at noon, with the shuttle hurdle relay.
