
Track concludes FSU Relays

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- Day three of the FSU Invite concluded with the University of North Florida men and women's track and field teams finishing strong. Like day one and two, the Ospreys managed a couple top-five finishes and a couple top-20 finishes.
Amy Stroder took charge in the women's high jump placing in second with a height of 1.70m, which is a new personal best for Stroder. Elise Trexler and Emily Kohler finished in fourth and fifth place respectively, both earning a height of 1.60m.
The women's 4x100m relay team of Stroder, Andrea Hall, Karissa Sullivan and Charisma Anderson managed a third place finish after crossing the finish line in 48.04. In the 4x400m relay, Lindsay Tafs, Golden Creavy, Kohler and Stroder took home fourth place (3:58.19).
On the men's side, Dane Simmons participated in the 800m run, where he took 11th place with a time of 1:59.70. Freshman Chris Fulcher took charge in the 1500m run finishing in 4:11.43, earning him 12th place.
The Ospreys return to action next weekend when they head to the UF Relays hosted by the University of Florida.
