Junior Emily Kohler was by far the busiest Lady Osprey, competing in the high jump, long jump, triple jump, javelin throw and the 4x400m relay. Kohler took tied for third place in the high jump, after jumping 1.65m. In the long jump Kohler finished 12th out of 34 participants with a distance of 5.18m, while also finishing the triple jump in 12th place. Kohler took home a top-10 finish in the javelin throw hurling the javelin 37.73m. Kohler joined Lindsay Tafs, Golden Creavy and Amy Stroder in the 4x400m relay, which saw the Lady Ospreys finish 10 seconds short of a new school record, after placing seventh with a time of 3:58.91.
Stroder took home the top spot in the high jump for the Lady Ospreys finishing with a height of 1.65m beating out the field of 27. Elise Trexler also finished in the top-10, taking eighth place with a height of 1.60m.
On the field, the Lady Ospreys faired just as well, with Amanda Davey and Sarah Coghlan dominating the 5000m run. Davey and Coghlan finished third (17:47.12) and fourth (18:05.16) respectively, beating out everyone in the field except two members of the Japanese track team.
Junior Lindsay Tafs set a new personal record in the 400m dash, when she finished 14th out of a field of 40 with a time of 59.23. Creavy and Evelyn Moore teamed up in the 800m run to set new personal records, with Creavy finishing seventh out of 49 (2:15.80).
The women's 4x100m relay team (Stroder, Tafs, Karissa Sullivan, and Charisma Anderson) took sixth place out of a field of 17, with a final time of 48.07.
Freshman Craig Sinbine came out blazing for the Ospreys, setting a new personal best in the 800m, finishing in 2:03.37. Fredrick Johansson made his outdoor debut by taking 12th place in the 1500m run with a time of 4:02.31. Johansson's time is just seventeen seconds shy of the school record, held by Jerry Reckart. Fellow freshman Sammy Palmer also made his outdoor debut, taking 29th place out of a field of 53, with a time of 4:12.03.
Goran Kosic participated in the 5000m, where he finished in 13th place out of 34, with a time of 15:45.04. Patrick Canfield and Jeff Auletta also participated in the 5k, rounding out the top-20. Canfield finished 15th (15:59.27), while Auletta finished 20th (16:23.87).
