NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The University of North Florida men's tennis team wrapped up Atlantic Sun Conference play on Saturday afternoon with a 7-0 win over Belmont in yet another dominating performance.

The victory was the fifth straight for UNF, which has won nine of its last 11 matches. The effort also guaranteed that the Ospreys (9-6, 7-1 A-Sun) can finish no worse than second in the A-Sun standings this season. A loss by A-Sun leader ETSU in its final five conference matches would give the Ospreys a share of the conference regular-season title - the first for UNF in any sport since the program moved to Division I in fall 2005.

During its five-match winning streak as a team, UNF has won 14 of its 15 individual doubles matches and 26 of 30 singles competitions. The Ospreys swept all nine matchups against Belmont (2-4, 1-3 A-Sun) on Saturday.

Matias Sigal (6-3, 7-6 at No. 1), Eduardo Pereira (3-6, 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2), Javier Ferrin (6-3, 6-0 at No.3), Elad Gabay (6-1, 7-6 at No. 4), Leonardo Gomes (6-4, 6-4 at No. 5) and Andres Monje (6-0, 6-2 at No. 6) posted singles wins for UNF against the Bruins.

The tandems of Gomes and Ferrin (8-3 at No. 1), Sigal and Lopes (8-4 at No. 2) and Gabay and Pereira (8-5 at No. 3) earned doubles victories.

The Ospreys return home to face Troy on Tuesday afternoon at the UNF Tennis Complex. Match time is set for 2 p.m.
