
Shields makes strong
showing on day two

Results
LONG BEACH, Calif.- The
University of North Florida swimming and diving team
dropped four spots in the standings at the Pacific
Coast Swimming Conference Championship and
stands in seventh place after two days of
competition.
UNF brought home a pair of 11th-place finishes and a
fifth-place finish in the 200-freestyle relay.
The team of Emily Shaw, Chelsea Lewis, Jenn Shields
and Lindsey McKelvey finished the relay in a time of
1:37.64.
Shields recorded a time of :24.55 in the 50-freestyle
final for UNF's top finish in that event. Maria Bianchi
also recorded an 11th-place finish in the 200-
individual medley, finishing the final in a time of
2:11.56.
Action at the PCSC continues through Saturday.
