
Daley Earns Second ASUN Swimmer Of The Week Distinction In Program History

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's swimming's Kayla Daley reeled in her first-career ASUN Swimmer of the Week award, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
The weekly award from the Atlantic Sun Conference is the second in program history after current teammate Victoria Torres took home the program's debut honors on Oct. 9, 2024. The Ospreys are in the midst of their third season with the ASUN Conference for women's swimming after making the move from the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA) in 2023.
"Kayla [Daley] had an outstanding meet against Rollins," Head Coach Ian Coffey stated. "In each event, she swam a smart game plan and really went after it. It was one of her best meets as an Osprey."
Daley opened the season with an astonishing four wins at Rollins, including taking home victories in three individual events. She placed first for the 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard butterfly, 200-yard individual medley and 200-yard medley relay.
The junior led the Ospreys to their first team win of the season with a dominant 207-55 road win against Rollins. They will continue their start to the season on the road once against against Vanderbilt on Saturday, Oct. 4, in Nashville, Tenn.
