LONG BEACH, Calif. - University of North Florida diver Emily Eisenhower helped place the Lady Osprey swimming and diving team in third place after a day of competition at the Pacific Collegiate Swimming Conference Championship.
Eisenhower won the 3-meter diving competition with a total of 451 points, outdueling 17 other competitors.
The 200-medley relay team of Jenn Shields, Monique Salles-Cunha, Caroline Poling and Maria Bianchi helped add to the UNF totals with a fourth-place finish in that event. The Lady Ospreys finally rounded out the first day of competition with a seventh-place finish in the 800-freestyle relay.
UNF compiled a total of 163 points on the opening day and stands in third place out of 14 teams. Pepperdine leads the competition with 196 points, followed by Northern Colorado's 172.
Action at the PCSC continues through Saturday.
