
UNF falls to ETSU

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - The University of North Florida women's soccer team suffered a 4-1 loss to East Tennessee State on Thursday night.
Caitlin Kovacs scored the Lady Ospreys' only goal of the game in the 59th minute of play.
Meredith Goldman netted the Bucs' first goal at the 30:45 mark to give ETSU the lead. Katie O'Bryan scored another goal in the 47th minute to give the Bucs a 2-0 advantage.
After the UNF goal, Jordan Monty netted a pair to seal a victory for ETSU.
ETSU out-shot the Lady Ospreys 18-9. Katelin Swift recorded three shots for UNF, including two shots on goal. Lisa Taylor, Courtney Forson and Lauren Winn each recorded a shot on goal for the Lady Ospreys.
Rachael Howard tallied eight saves for UNF, while Lindsay Metcalf recorded five for ETSU.
The Lady Ospreys continue Atlantic Sun conference play at Kennesaw State on Saturday at 2 p.m.
