CHARLESTON, S.C.- The University of North Florida women's soccer team defeated College of Charleston 2-1 on Friday evening. Caitlin Kovacs scored the winning goal with one second left in regulation to seal the game for the Lady Ospreys.
Courtney Forson netted UNF's first goal of the game at the 23:44 mark to send the Lady Ospreys ahead, 1-0.
The Cougars knotted the game in the 66th minute on a penalty kick by Emily Morgan.
UNF out-shot CofC 8-5. Rachel Howard tallied two saves for the Lady Ospreys. br>
The Lady Ospreys continue their South Carolina trip with a game versus South Carolina State on Sunday at 2 p.m.
