
UNF routs South Carolina State

ORANGEBURG, S.C. - The University of North Florida women's soccer team collected another victory, downing South Carolina State 5-0 on Sunday afternoon. Courtney Forson netted a pair for the Lady Ospreys.
Forson scored her first goal of the game in the ninth minute on a header off a free kick by Christine Brewer. The pair combined again for another goal at the 15:09 mark when Forson assisted Brewer to give the Lady Ospreys a 2-0 lead.
Lena Mullaney notched a goal only two minutes later, with assists from Brewer and Forson.
Forson netted her second goal in the 58th minutes on a header off a free kick by Elizabeth Gowan.
Lisa Potoka tallied UNF's final goal of the game in the 83rd minute on a header off a corner kick by Jessica Jowers.
Rachael Howard collected three saves en route to her second shutout of the season.
The Lady Ospreys begin Atlantic Sun conference play on the road when they match up with Jacksonville University on Friday at 7 p.m.
