JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Dusty Rhodes earned his 800th career win at North Florida as the Ospreys flew by Bethune-Cookman 11-2 on Thursday evening at Harmon Stadium. The Ospreys have now won six straight home games and 12 of their last 13 games overall.

Brandon Diaz belted a grand slam in the fifth inning and finished with five RBIs. Jonathan Hodach added three hits, and Jon Dandridge added two hits to guide the Ospreys' offense.

Ryan Amason (6-5) started on the mound, worked three innings on a predetermined pitch count and struck out four to earn the win. Travis Martin relieved Amason and scattered six hits, but allowed just one run over three innings. John Frawley and Josh Papelbon combined to allow just one hit over the final three innings.

UNF touched up Wildcats starter R.J. Rodriguez (7-4) for five runs - all in the second inning to hand him the loss.

Hodach started the Ospreys' scoring with his team- leading 16th double of the season to plate James Belyea from first base as he was running on the pitch. Chad Knight followed with an RBI single past the first baseman to score Hodach, and Rogers sent Knight home with a single to center field. Dandridge kept the rally going with the first home run of his career - a two-run shot that sailed over the wall in right center field.

Bethune-Cookman got on the board in the third inning as Jorge Mico drew a bases-loaded walk, and the Wildcats added another run in the fourth on a double-steal.

Matt Oxendine extended his hitting streak to 13 games with a single up the middle in the bottom of the seventh inning.

The Ospreys will play their final home series of the season this weekend when they welcome A-Sun foe Lipscomb to Harmon Stadium for a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m. and a single game on Sunday at 1 p.m.
