The home run was the first of Martin's career.
"This was a good win for us tonight," UNF head coach Dusty Rhodes said. "Stetson is a good team that will be in the hunt at the end. They always are. It was good to see some guys come in off the bench tonight like (Travis) Martin and (Brian) Wilson and get the job done."
UNF (8-6, 1-1 A-Sun) received another strong performance from junior left-hander Jeremy Papelbon (1-1). The Jacksonville, Fla., native tossed 6.1 innings pitched allowing three hits and an unearned run, while striking out five batters.

The Hatters (6-7, 1-1 A-Sun) grabbed a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning. Stetson center fielder Shane Jordan led the inning off with a single up the middle. After a sacrifice bunt by second baseman Brandon Paritz moved Jordan to second, UNF shortstop Matt Oxendine was unable to throw out Brian Bocock giving the Hatters runners on the corner with one out. A fielder's choice by first baseman Chris Johnson plated Jordan to give Stetson the lead.
