
UNF routs Palm Beach Atlantic

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The University of North Florida men's soccer team dominated Palm Beach Atlantic, defeating the Sailfish 5-0 on Monday. With the win, the Ospreys finish the 2006 home season with a 5-11-2 record.
Matt Williams netted the Ospreys' first goal in the ninth minute of the game to give UNF an early lead.
Mark Sergio scored the second Osprey goal in the 36th minute to give UNF a 2-0 advantage going into the half.
Samir Plavotic tallied another UNF goal in the 62nd minute with an assist from Williams.
Sergio netted his second goal of the game in the 86th minute. Shareef Rajkumar put in the final UNF goal with less than a minute to play, assisted by Sergio.
Cheyne Roberts tallied three shots on goal for PBA, while Matt Sweesy and Chance Sumner each had a pair.
Michael Frost returned in goal for the Ospreys, tallying seven saves. Joseph Yurchak also has 7 saves for the Sailfish.
Mats Elmsater, Rodolfo Zubiate and J.P. Springer were honored at half time for Senior Day.
UNF will wrap up its 2006 season on Saturday with a game at Flagler. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
