
Lady Ospreys tie Belmont

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The University of North Florida women's soccer team recorded a tie versus Belmont in double overtime on Saturday. The Lady Ospreys now hold a 10-3-1 record with a 4-2-1 mark in Atlantic Sun Conference action.
UNF and Belmont played an evenly matched game, each registering seven shots.
The Bruins were first to score in the 21st minute of play. Annie Musacchio netted the Belmont goal off an indirect kick outside the box. She was assisted by Kassidy Brown and Anna Walsh on the goal.
Amanda Wallace scored the equalizer for the Lady Ospreys in the 37th minute.
Lena Mullaney, Christine Brewer, Courtney Forson and Courteney Strickland each recorded a shot on goal for UNF in the draw.
Rachael Howard played 110 minutes in goal, recording three saves for UNF. Micaela Crowley tallied four saves for Belmont.
The Lady Ospreys return home as they continue conference play on Thursday versus Stetson. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
