
UNF falls to Belmont

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The University of North Florida men's soccer team suffered another conference loss, falling to Belmont 2-0 on Saturday. The Ospreys now hold a 3-9-1 record with a 1-4 mark in Atlantic Sun Conference action.
UNF saw the first opportunity to score when Shareef Rajkumar recorded the first shot of the match in the 33rd minute of play.
Kent Walker netted the Bruins' first goal of the game with 10:58 remaining in the period. He was assisted on the goal by Ian Schinelli and Eric Pittel.
Schinelli notched Belmont's second goal of the game in the 82nd minute to seal the Ospreys fate. Jay Aryes and Justin May assisted on the goal.
Samir Plavotic recorded the Ospreys only shot on goal with six minutes remaining in the first half.
Taylor Unsinger made two saves for UNF, while Kyle Roelke had one save for Belmont.
The Ospreys play their final game of a three-game homestand on Tuesday, when they take on Georgia Southern at 5 p.m.
