
Ospreys outlast Ga. Southern
for overtime victory

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The University of North Florida men's soccer team collected a win on Tuesday, defeating Georgia Southern 3-2 in overtime. Shareef Rajkumar netted the game winner for the Ospreys 1:23 into the extra period.
UNF (4-9-1) was the first to score when David Pollard tallied a goal off a pass by Rajkumar in the 16th minute of play.
Scott DeVault scored the tying goal for GSU (7-4-3) in the 25th minute. Jon Cox assisted on the goal.
A foul in the box by the Eagles gave UNF a penalty kick in the 40th minute. Martin Schuhte netted the goal for the Ospreys to give them a 2-1 advantage going into the half.
Sean Sandoval scored the equalizer for GSU with another assist from Cox less than two minutes into the second half. The score remained knotted at two for the duration of regulation.
Taylor Unsinger made a career-high nine saves for UNF, while Adam Webb had four saves for the Eagles.
The Ospreys travel to Stetson on Friday to continue Atlantic Sun Conference action. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
