JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Kennesaw State women's soccer team tallied 13 shots, including 10 shots on goal, en route to a 4-0 win over the University of North Florida in an Atlantic Sun Conference showdown at UNF Soccer Stadium on Friday.

The loss marked the third consecutive loss for UNF (2-4-1, 0-2-0 A-Sun). Prior to Friday's match, the Lady Ospreys had not lost three straight matches since 2003, when UNF dropped decisions to Kennesaw State, Tusculum and USC Upstate.

UNF tallied three shots in the match, including a shot on goal. Junior midfielder Courtney Forson led the way for the Lady Ospreys with two shots. The St. Augustine, Fla., native also tallied UNF's shot on goal. Freshman forward Elizabeth Gowan tallied one shot.

The Owls (5-1-1, 1-0-0 A-Sun) and the Lady Ospreys played a scoreless first half before the Kennesaw offense exploded, recording 10 of its 13 shots in the final half of play.

Annie Phillips opened up the scoring in the 52^nd minute of play when she snuck the ball past an outstretched Rachael Howard to give the Owls a 1-0 lead. Jenae Gzehoviak and Laura Tucker assisted on the game-winning goal.

Gzehoviak added the Owls' second goal at the 6:23 mark when she headed the ball past Howard to give Kennesaw State a 2-0 lead. Caitlin Jadlocki added the third goal just moments after checking into the match when she drove a Katrina Hirsch pass through the Lady Ospreys' defense and past Howard. Kennesaw State added its final goal of the match in the 84^th minute when Steph Grzeszkowiak scored on a Kani Brownlee assist.

Jessica Marek earned the win for Kennesaw State. She recorded one save. 

Howard suffered the loss for UNF to drop to 2-4-1 on the season. Howard tallied five saves. Sophomore goalkeeper Heather Gosselin recorded one save in 27:21 in goal.

The Lady Ospreys will be back in action on Sunday when they play host to conference-rival East Tennessee State. That match is set to begin at 1 p.m. at UNF Soccer Stadium.
