MIAMI, Fla. - University of North Florida freshman goalkeeper Rachael Howard tallied eight saves, including a diving stop in the final minutes of the final overtime, to help the Lady Ospreys escape a 110-minute battle with Florida International with a 0-0 tie on Friday night at the FIU Soccer Invitational.

The Lady Ospreys (1-1-1) were led by juniors Christine Brewer and Courtney Forson. Both Brewer and Forson tallied two shots, including a shot on goal. UNF had six shots on goal in the match.

The Golden Panthers outshot UNF 22-10, including 10 shots on goal. Janessa Taddei led the charge with seven shots.

Laura Snell recorded six saves for FIU.

The Lady Ospreys will be back in action on Sunday when they take on Indiana-Purdue Ft. Wayne in their last match of the tournament. That match is set to begin at 10 a.m. ET.
