
North Florida upends GCSU, 8-1

MILLEDEVILLE, Ga. -The University of North Florida women's tennis team continued its strong play on Friday, defeating No. 11 Georgia College & State 8-1.
The win improves the No. 9 ranked Lady Ospreys to 12-3 overall, with a 6-1 mark in Peach Belt Conference play.
The victory marks the seventh time this season that UNF has defeated a nationally ranked opponent.
North Florida came out strong sweeping doubles, thus setting the stage for a dominating performance against one of the nation's top teams.
The loss drops the Lady Bobcats to 9-4 overall and 3- 3 in the PBC.
UNF will do double duty on Saturday, as they will take on conference opponents No. 21 USC Aiken and Augusta State. The match at Augusta State will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by a 2:30 p.m. start at USC Aiken.
