UNF drops season opener, 3-0

MORROW, Ga. - Queens College scored three second half goals Aug. 28 as they beat UNF 3-0 in the Clayton State Kickoff Classic. Demetrius Donald accounted for two goals and assisted on the other in the shutout.
Queens got on the board in the 54th minute when Simon Wulliman deflected a shot past goalie Scott Ballon, giving Queens the 1-0 lead. Wulliman also assisted Donald on a goal three minutes later, increasing the lead to 2-0. Donald capped off the scoring in the 83rd minute with his second goal.
Ballon allowed three goals and made four saves in the loss. Bruce Mottern registered the shutout, recording eight saves.
The Ospreys continue the Kickoff Classsic Aug. 29 when they take on Belmont at 3 p.m.
