Ninety minutes and 17 shots during the first two periods of play proved to be insufficient in deciding the winner. However, it took just
Vieinte Arze scored his eighth goal of the season in the eighth minute of overtime on a direct kick from just outside the box to notch the game-winner.
The loss drops the Ospreys (
Mercer tallied 12 shots to UNF's six shots, including a 1-0 advantage in the overtime period. The Bears recorded four shots on goal, while UNF recorded one shot on goal.
Junior defender Mats Elmsater led the offensive charge for the Ospreys with two shots and a shot on goal. Sophomore Mark Sergio, Martin Schuhte and Martin Pettersson, along with freshman Shareef Rajkumar each tallied a shot.
