UNF Turf Field



Located just east of the Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium, the Turf Field is made with the RootZone 3D3 blend featuring TRIONIC fiber. The field is lined for soccer, lacrosse and rugby, serving as a practice facility for North Florida's men's and women's soccer programs as well as a conditioning and training space for the rest of the North Florida Athletics programs. 

The first-ever official UNF contest was hosted on the turf August 25 when UNF took on Georgia Southern. The men's soccer program would play against Georgia State one day later on that same field. 

Surrounding the turf field are three track lanes, providing a phenomenal auxiliary training space for UNF's men's and women's track and field programs. The whole complex also serves as a warm-up space ideal for the many large track and field events that the Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium hosts.
