Bart Van Leijsen joins the North Florida men's tennis staff as an assistant coach in July of 2019.
Hailing from Groningen, Netherlands, Van Leijsen went on to have a stellar career at the University of New Mexico. In four years and as a three-year captain, Van Leijsen was a three-time ITA Scholar-Athlete (2015, 2016, 2018) and notched an ATP ranking in doubles play.
In one full season and one abbreviated campaign at UNF, Van Leijsen has seen the Ospreys garner one ASUN Player of the Week honor, two ASUN All-Conference honors, three ITA Singles Rankings and one ITA Preseason Doubles distinction.

After graduating with his bachelor's in business administration, Van Leijsen spent a year training top juniors in New Mexico.
