On Friday, UNF golfer Michael O’Neal was named both the UNF Male Scholar Athlete of the Year and the Male Athlete of the Year. The awards completed an amazing week for O’Neal, which saw him help lead his team to an A-Sun Conference championship before being presented with a second-straight UNF Scholar Athlete of the Year honor. He is also the first UNF student-athlete, male or female, to sweep these awards. O’Neal finished tied for seventh last week at the conference tournament. Starting play off with a 74, before recording two-straight rounds of 72.
