Biography
2011 (junior):
SAND — Member of Atlantic Sun Conference championship squad... posted a 5-2 record at No. 2 pairs teamming with Julie Trembley (4-2) and Emily Strack (1-0) during regular season... reached the finals of the Silver Bracket alongside Trembley at the UNF Sand Invitational... boasted a perfect 4-0 record at A-Sun Championship paired with Strack helping Ospreys to team title.
INDOOR — Played in all 31 matches (116 sets) in her debut season with the Ospreys... led the team and ranked second in the Atlantic Sun in blocking with 112 blocks (0.97 per set)... also topped UNF and listed 15th in the league for hitting percentage at .234... just 4th player in program history with 100 blocks assists in a season... tallied career best 19 kills against Florida A&M while hitting .552 in the match... collected a personal best eight blocks against Texas A&M CC... Atlantic Sun Academic Honor Roll member.
Prior to UNF: Member of the Hofstra volleyball team for three years… after sitting out a year, tallied 469 kills, 194 blocks, 127 digs and 27 aces over the next two seasons... earned All-Tournament honors in 2010 at both the Hofstra Invitational and the West Point Challenge.
High School: Attended Red Bluff HS... led the state of California in kills during the 2007-08 season with 739... earned first team All-Northern Section honors as well as being a two time All-Eastern Athletic League selection... named the Record Searchlight Most Valuable Player as a senior and earned Record Searchlight first team honors both her junior and senior years… played club ball for Shasta Creation… also played basketball.
Personal: Majoring in Health Science… daughter of Andrew and Linda Jenkins… has two sisters, Lauren and Janice… born February 20, 1990.
