UNF Athletic Banner Set to Fly Over Beaches this Weekend

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida athletics looks to soar to new heights over the Labor Day weekend, literally, as an airplane banner recognizing Osprey Athletics will fly over the Jacksonville beaches Saturday-Monday.
The banner, which encourages fans to “Experience Division I Osprey Athletics”, will be flown by Beach Banners on a round trip journey from Ponte Vedra Beach to Atlantic Beach. The banner is scheduled for flights Saturday (1-2 p.m.), Sunday (2-3 p.m.) and Monday (2-3 p.m.)
In addition, UNF fans are encouraged to take pictures of the banner flyover and post them on the Athletic Department's Facebook fan page (University of North Florida Ospreys). The person posting the best and most creative photo will earn a pair of front row tickets for the UNF-Jacksonville men's basketball game on Jan. 26.
