
Larrinaga Earns A-Sun Player of the Week Honors

“Michele was vital to our team's success and she had a coupe of great goals,” head women's soccer coach Linda Hamilton said. “She gave us some unbelievable minutes coming off the bench and its credit to the quality of our team that no matter who is playing, the level of talent continues at a high level. I thought she actually played some of the best soccer she's ever played in her career. It's sort of bittersweet. We lost two games, but I thought Michele gave a great effort. She was a true team player this weekend.”
Larrinaga, becoming the first North Florida women's soccer player to garner the award since 2008 (Katelin Swift), scored both of her goals in the first half against St. Mary's within a span of just three minutes and 19 seconds to tie the game heading into halftime.
