UNF Women’s Basketball Volunteers with MS Walk

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of North Florida Women's Basketball team recently volunteered with the 2010 MS Walk hosted by the North Florida Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in downtown Jacksonville.

The Ospreys helped with registering participants, greeting guests as they arrived and handed out water to the participants along the race course. Over 75 teams participated in the event this year with thousands of dollars raised for the organization.

The MS Walk is one of the major fundraising events for the North Florida Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. In addition, the organization also sponsors the MS Mud Run, Bike MS and the Dinner of Champions.
