UNF Competes in FSU Relays

JACKONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida men's and women's track and field teams will compete in the FSU Relays Friday-Saturday, March 26-27, at the Mike Long Track in Tallahassee, Fla.
Friday's events will begin with the field events at 9 a.m. On Saturday, running events will start bright and early at 8 a.m. For full schedule of individual events start times click here.
The Ospreys will go up against an array of collegiate athletes from around the nation, including programs such as
The navy blue and grey competed last Friday in the USF Invitational in
Kayla Mobley threw the discus 40.90-meters for a new UNF school record and an eighth-place finish against a field of 20 competitors.
In the other field events, Ashton McGuire picked up sixth-place with her school record setting distance of 37.49m in the javelin throw continues to lead the Atlantic Sun with her top marks and break school records. The former UNF school record was 32.32m set by McGuire last season.
For the men, Johnathan Esteban ran the 1500m in 3:57.87 to finish third. Esteban's run would claim a second best mark in the conference and the best finish of the day for the Ospreys. James Post finished seventh in the 1500m (4:02.20).
