Ospreys Rained Out in USF Tournament

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The University of North Florida softball team ends day three of the USF "The Game" Tournament in Clearwater, Fla. with a rainout against Long Island University.

The Ospreys (13-18) made it to the top of the second inning against Long Island University until the rain and lightning came.

North Florida went 2-2 throughout the weekend with wins against Dartmouth, 3-0, and No. 16/17 Ohio State, 1-0, in a complete game shutout for pitcher Devyn Findley (10-9).

The Ospreys will be back in action on Wednesday, March 24, when they travel to north to play Georgia Southern. The doubleheader will begin at 4 p.m.
