Ospreys Finish Meet in Tampa

Kayla Mobley threw the discus 40.90-meters for a new UNF school record and an eighth-place finish against a field of 20 competitors.
In the other field events, Ashton McGuire picked up sixth-place with her school record setting distance of 37.49m in the javelin throw continues to lead the Atlantic Sun with her top marks and break school records. The former UNF school record was 32.32m set by McGuire last season.
In the running events, Charisma Anderson burned a time of 12-flat to place fifth and remain on top of the Atlantic Sun in the 100m dash. Jaybria Calcote ran a time of 57.85 for a seventh-place finish and a personal best mark in the 400m.
Ashdon Mills finished in the top-10 for the men in the 400m race with his time of 49.74. His time moves him up to the third best time in the conference.
Kayla Conrad received a fifth place finish after her stellar performance of 2:14.09 in the 800m. Conrad's 800m time sits on top of the conference.
Johnathan Esteban ran the 1500m in 3:57.87 to finish third. Esteban's run would claim a second best mark in the conference and the best finish of the day for the Ospreys. James Post finished seventh in the 1500m (4:02.20).
