JU Week is Here, Women vs. Dolphins on Wednesday and Men on Friday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of North Florida men's and women's basketball squads will play host to crosstown rival Jacksonville University this week in two SunTrust River City Rumble match-ups at UNF Arena.

The women face Jacksonville on Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 7 p.m. in a “Pack the House Challenge,” and the men take on JU on Friday, Jan. 29, at 7 p.m. in a “White-Out the Dolphins” game as all UNF fans are encouraged to wear white.

The men's game is brought to you by metroPCS and the first 2,250 fans in attendance will receive a white t-shirt for the “White-Out.” The men play at USC Upstate on Wednesday, Jan. 27, before returning home to take on the Dolphins on Friday.

There will also be a pep rally for the men's game on Friday, Jan. 29, from Noon-1 p.m. in the plaza of the UNF Student Union. Coach Driscoll, select men's players and members of Velocity will be on hand.

Ticket prices for the women's game are $10 for Adult/$8 for Youth 17-and-under and Senior Citizens 55-and-older. All tickets are $15 for the men's JU game.

Children 2-and-under and any current UNF student with a valid Osprey1 Card are admitted free. Student guest passes for those events are $5 and limited to one per student.

Fans and students are encouraged to pick up their tickets early to avoid delays at the game.

The men's game Friday is the CSS Atlantic Sun TV Game of the Week and can be seen on Comcast channel 54 in Jacksonville. The men's game can be heard on AM 1320 WBOB and 103.7 FM in Jacksonville or on-line at 1320WBOB.com. Both games can also be seen live on ASun.TV.
