“I am very proud of both Matthew and Adam,” remarked head coach Ray Bunch. “I feel Matthew is one of the best leaders we have ever had on this team and I am excited that he has been recognized. The things that Matthew brings to this team both on and off the field is just fantastic. With Adam, he got off to a slow start, but I think he finished strong and I am glad he was rewarded for his efforts. I think it is a real honor for them to finish the season with this honor.”
Hollyoak is a senior captain and leader on defense. He finished the regular season third on the team with six points, including five points in Atlantic Sun Conference play. Hollyoak led the team with four assists with three of his four assists coming in A-Sun matches. His only goal of the season came in conference play against Lipscomb.
