UNF Announces Weekly Home and ASun.TV Events

Men’s soccer, men’s basketball and volleyball highlight UNF ASun.TV events
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The University of North Florida will be televised on ASun.TV four times during the week of Monday, Nov. 2, through Sunday, Nov. 8, including three home events. Two home men's soccer matches, along with a home men's basketball exhibition game and a road volleyball match will be broadcast.
The men's basketball team and new head coach Matthew Driscoll open the 2009-10 season with an exhibition game against Ave Maria on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m. at UNF Arena. Season tickets for basketball are currently available.
A season ticket for basketball is $120 and includes all men's and women's home games, a total of 28 games on 19 event dates, including nine Atlantic Sun Conference doubleheaders. A special rate is available for UNF Alumni ($110) and UNF Faculty and Staff ($105). A Family 4-pack is also available for the season at $360. Select seating areas require an Osprey Club membership (per seat donation).
Single-game pricing is $10. Children 2-and-under and any current UNF student with a valid Osprey1 Card are admitted free. Student guest passes are $5 and limited to one per student.

The week begins for the Ospreys with a home match for men's soccer. UNF hosts Georgia Southern on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m., at Hodges Stadium. The match will be Senior Day for the Ospreys.
The men's soccer team will also have its first-round Atlantic Sun Tournament match against Mercer shown on ASun.TV. The match between the Ospreys and the Bears is slated for Saturday, Nov. 7, at 6 p.m., at Hodges Stadium. Admission for the event is $5 for adults and $3 for students with valid identification, senior citizens (ages 65 and older) and children (ages 17 and younger). The first 300 UNF students with a valid ID are FREE.
In addition, UNF volleyball's road match against Campbell will be webcast on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 3 p.m.
