Hamilton Rallies Behind World Cup

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida women's soccer head coach Linda Hamilton was featured in FOX 30 Action News' story on the city of Jacksonville vieing for the chance to host the World Cup.

Yesterday, the mayor along with other city leaders traveled to New York to try and make Jacksonville, Fla. one of the U.S. cities to host games for either the 2018 or 2022 World Cup.

Below is FOX 30 Action News' story of the possibility of bringing one of the biggest sporting events to Municipal Stadium that includes an interview with Hamilton, a two-time medal winner on the 1991 and 1995 U.S. Women's World Cup Teams.
