
Swift and Larrinaga Gather A-Sun Honors

“Swift has been such an integral part to our program and one of the pioneers for the direction this program has taken over the years,” said head coach Linda Hamilton. “She's such a great person, for her play on the field, leadership and the attitude she has always carried with her on the field. I'm going to miss her and everything she has brought to our program.”
After coming off an impressive season and a more than special career, Swift has etched her own spot in Osprey history. Swift ended the season fifth in goals (8), seventh in points (19) and tied for seventh in points per game (1.00) in the A-Sun. She ended her career on the all-time Osprey list fourth in minutes played (5,096), fifth in goals (30) and sixth in points (68).
Swift won four A-Sun Player of the Week awards in her career, with two coming this season. On Aug. 31 she was nominated for her two-goal weekend at the Osprey Classic, and on Sept. 21 she was selected for her two-goal game against The Citadel on Sept. 20.

Like Swift, Larrinaga was able to grab her first A-Sun honor. During Larrinaga's 2009 campaign she finished second in goals (6) on the team and finished tied for eighth in goals and 10th in goals per game (.32), in the A-Sun. The
