2022 AVCA Beach Volleyball Thirty Under 30 Recipient
Former UNF beach volleyball student-athlete Sophie Beckley joins the North Florida Beach Volleyball coaching staff prior to the 2022 season as a graduate assistant coach. Beckley was a two-year letterwinner for the Ospreys, playing on the 2021 ASUN Beach Volleyball Championship squad while seeing her first year of competition in 2020.
The Seattle, Wash., native appeared in 22 matches at the University of Minnesota where she was a member of the Gophers volleyball team. Beckley was on the squad that reached the 2015 and 2016 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Final Four, as well as the 2017 and 2018 NCAA Sweet Sixteen.
A two-time ASUN Honor Roll student, Beckler earned her B.S. in ecology and is working towards her M.S. in biology at UNF.
