Adam Cooke joined the UNF Track & Field/Cross Country coaching staff as an assistant coach in July of 2015.
Cooke came to the Ospreys after working as a volunteer assistant for the Georgia Tech Track & Field/Cross Country program in 2014-15. He also served as a team manager for the Yellowjackets from 2012-14.
A 2015 graduate of Tech with a degree in computer science, Cooke spent a majority of his time working with the GT middle distance and distance groups. He assisted with the women's 4x800m relay team breaking an 18-year old school record and the men's 4x800m relay team claiming the Championship of America at the Penn Relays.
A solid prep runner himself, Cooke ran at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy for Doug Butler, the winningest high school cross country coach in Florida history. He was a member of the 2006 FHSAA 1A Cross Country State Championship squad.
A native of Melbourne, Fla., Cooke holds his USATF level 1 coach certification.
