Laura Valderrama enters her first season as a volunteer assistant coach with the North Florida Women's Tennis program.Â
A native of Madrid, Spain, Valderrama played collegiately at Division II Lake Superior State University, appearing in over 90 matches for the Lakers as a four-year letterwinner.Â
Valderrama graduated with her bachelor's in mechanical engineering and has a younger brother that players for the LSSU Men's Tennis team. She is currently pursuing her master's in UNF's College of Computing, Engineering and Construction.Â
