As a sophomore, 2006-07: Finished in the top-five five times ... best time in the 500-free came at the Georgia Tech/Emory/New Orleans meet with a mark of 5:33.84 ... best performance in the 1000-free was a fourth-place finish and a time of 11:15.46 against Northern Colorado and Lock Haven.
As a freshman, 2005-06: Took home four top-three finishes on the season, including a first-place finish in a sprint meet at North Carolina A&T ... best performance of the year in the 500-freestyle came against Florida Atlantic, where she recorded a time of 5:33.51 ... swam the 1650-freestyle at Davidson in a time of 18:55.
High School: 2005 graduate of Barron Collier High School, where she was a four-year letterwinner for Daryl Sullivan. Team won county championships in 2002, 2003 and 2004. All-area and all-region selection every year in high school. State qualifier all four years. County champion in the 500-freestyle her junior season. Finished third in districts in the 200 freestyle her senior season. Named who's who among American high school students and received the Gatoraid Will to Win award her senior year.
Personal: Majoring in nutrition. Born July 22, 1987, in Miami. Hometown is Naples, Fla. Daughter of Martha and Paul Johnson. Favorite food is strawberries, favorite movie is "Napoleon Dynamite" and favorite TV show is "The OC." Lists her parents as the people who have most greatly influenced her life.
