Daven Eidem is entering his first year as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at the University of North Florida. He is in charge of all sports performance training for women’s basketball, volleyball, and women’s golf.

Before joining the University of North Florida, Daven served as a basketball Strength & Performance Graduate Assistant at the University of Oklahoma, Daven primarily worked with the men’s and women’s basketball programs, as well as the men’s tennis team, designing and implementing customized strength and conditioning programs, managing athlete load tracking using Catapult and Firstbeat heart rate monitoring, and supporting injury prevention and recovery strategies.

Prior to this role, Daven served as a Performance Intern/Fellow with Husker Basketball at the University of Nebraska, where he contributed to program development, return-to-play protocols, movement efficiency assessments, and performance research. Throughout their career, Daven has demonstrated a strong ability to apply sports science principles to optimize athlete performance, leveraging tools such as Catapult, Fusionetics, and individualized player profiling systems.

Daven holds a Master of Science in Health and Exercise Science from the University of Oklahoma, and a Bachelor of Science in Child, Youth, and Family Studies from the University of Nebraska. Daven is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and hold certifications in Fusionetics and First Aid/CPR/AED.
