(Cross Country): Competed in four meets on the year … finished 21st at the USC Upstate Invitational with a career-best 8,000 meter time of 26:40.62 … turned in a finish of 52nd at the FSU Invitational with a time of 27:13.17 … also competed at the Mountain Dew Invitational (27:44.42; 72nd).
FRESHMAN (2009-10)
(Cross Country): Ran in three races through the season … clocked a season-best 8,000 meter time of 29:10.50, finishing 120th at the Mountain Dew Invitational ... also competed at the Seminole Invite where he placed 51st with a time of 29:43.63. (Indoor Track): Posted a personal-best 3,000 meter time of 9:06.39 at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational … turned in finishes of 26th in the 3,000 meters (9:26.77) and sixth as a member of the distance medley relay team (10:57.87) at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships. (Outdoor Track): Clocked a personal-best 800 meter time of 2:00.69 and won his heat at the Embry-Riddle Spike’s Classic … placed 11th at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships in the 1,500 meters with a lifetime-best time of 4:03.79 in the 1,500 meters.
