Biography

As a senior, 2006-07: Played in the team[apos]s first 10 games, including nine starts, before being ruled academically ineligible following fall semester ... was the team[apos]s leading scorer and second-leading rebounder when he was forced to sit out for the remainder of the season ... scored in double figures seven times, including a season-high 21 points at top-ranked Florida on Nov. 14 ... had 20 points against Concordia five days later, also collecting a season-high eight rebounds in that game ... played 30 minutes or more in nine of the 10 games in which he appeared ... did not start against Florida Atlantic as a disciplinary measure, but played 33 minutes off the bench (12 points, 4 rebounds) ... shot .491 for the season (55-of-112), including a season-best .875 against Binghamton on Dec. 18 (7-of-8) in his last game as an Osprey ... played 40 minutes against Northwestern, Lipscomb and William & Mary ... recorded season highs in assists with five against Lipscomb and Concordia. As a junior, 2005-06: Started 23 of the team[apos]s 28 games in his first season with the team - including the final 20 games of the season ... averaged 15.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, which ranked second on the squad in both categories ... ranked ninth in scoring and 13th in rebounding in the A-Sun ... dominated in conference play, averaging 17.3 points (ranked fifth in A-Sun) and 7.0 rebounds against A-Sun foes ... shot 55 percent from the floor (ranked fifth in the A-Sun) and 58 percent in conference play, both of which were team highs ... also led the team with 27 blocks (seventh in A-Sun) ... dominated during the second half of the season, scoring in double figures in his final 13 games of the year while tallying three double-doubles during that time ... had five double-doubles during the year ... scored 17 or more points 15 times during the year, including a season-high 32 against East Tennessee State on Feb. 5 ... tallied a season-high 12 rebounds three times - at Mercer on Jan. 4, against Belmont on Jan. 7 and against ETSU on Feb. 5 ... shot 50 percent or better from the floor 20 times, including a season-best 80 percent against Campbell (8-of-10) on Jan. 19 ... had two or more blocks in a game nine times ... season high in blocks was four at Belmont on Feb. 11 ... over his final 13 games, took over as the team[apos]s scoring leader and [quote]go to[quote] guy ... averaged 19.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 36 minutes during that stretch, while also shooting 60 percent from the floor (102-of-170). Junior College: Averaged 15 points and seven rebounds per game as a sophomore at Middle Georgia College in Cochran, Ga., to earn honorable mention all-region recognition ... that came after he averaged 11 points and seven rebounds per game as a freshman ... was limited to just 21 of his team[apos]s 30 games in 2004-05 after suffering a broken foot in December ... returned late in the year, however, to help power Middle Georgia to a strong finish. High School: Attended Southwest High School in Macon, Ga., from 1999-2003, where he played only one season of high school basketball for head coach Emanuel Frazier ... averaged 10 points per game as a senior in 2002-03 ... also played baseball for four seasons at Southwest, where he hit back-to-back, game-winning home runs his senior year ... also played two years in the Macon Midnight League, becoming the 2003 slam dunk champion.
