Coach Driscoll on Alex
"Alex [Vargo] has a multitude of talents and skills that are all overshadowed by his approach to life, more importantly his willingness to serve others. Alex has had many ebbs and flows throughout his journey, however, one factor that has stayed consistent is his work ethic and confidence. He has displayed throughout his freshmen year in NCAA Division I, plus this past season in JUCO rings loudly, the ability to score from everywhere on the floor. He had 47 points in his final game, which was his third contest with 40+ points on the season along with 30+ points six other times. He also produces a high level of assists and rebounds that makes him as well-rounded as they come. Alex has an energized spirit that resonates as soon as he enters a room, demonstrating his heart's passion to connect with everyone."
