Student-Athlete Networking Career Mixer
Our annual Fall event continues to grow each year with increased student-athlete attendance and local company participation.  What a win-win opportunity for our student-athletes to gain knowledge on companies, interact with alumni, network with professions through open conversation that is different from a typical career fair.  The mixer provides a chance for student-athletes to obtain opportunities in job shadowing, informational meetings, internships, and full-time positions.  Each year the employers and student-athletes walk away from the event with a new understanding and appreciation of knowledge and skills learned. (not sure about the last sentence – feel free to adjust)
