Athletic Marketing
The University of North Florida Athletic Marketing Department coordinates all promotions, advertising campaigns, community outreach programs, and event operations for all 19 Division I sports.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
-Assist the UNF Athletic Marketing staff in the planning, development and coordination of marketing, promotional and fan experience efforts for all 19 sports.
-Complete at least one assigned special project, to culminate with a presentation to the athletic marketing staff, as well as potential execution of the project, dependent upon date and completion of internship. These projects include things such as program enhancements and upgrades, Osprey -Nation membership drives, promotional campaigns, social media strategies, and in-game marketing efforts.
Work university and community events to promote UNF Athletics.
-Complete a minimum weekly office hours and assist in carrying out assigned in office responsibilities.
-Attend scheduled weekly intern staff meetings and optional intern development events.
-Distribute posters, flyers, and schedule cards to assigned locations.
-Develop promotional plans and fan experience elements for sports as needed and assigned.
-Assist with managing public address announcers, coordinating music, video board elements, cheer team, pep band, and other marketing needs to direct the flow of games, events and promotions as needed.
-Assist with sponsorship fulfillment and in-game promotions.
-Improve the atmosphere at each event through the use of games, giveaways, contests, trivia and music, etc.
-Promote athletic events and communicate promotions within the residence halls, Greek system, student body, etc.
-Learn about sports marketing and HAVE FUN!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-Genuine interest in athletics and the sport industry
-Ability to manage time commitments and dedicate all required office and event hours, including weekends
-Maintain a 2.50 GPA or higher
-Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
-Ability to multi-task, stay organized, keep up with high-energy, fast paced environment
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
