Mark Romano Earns Second-Straight ASUN Player Of The Week Selection

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida Men's Soccer senior midfielder Mark Romano earned ASUN Player of the Week distinction for the second-straight week on Monday.
It marked the second time this season that Romano has been named ASUN Player of the Week after he earned the nod on Sept. 14. North Florida has totaled five conference weekly honors this season.
North Florida improved 5-3-1 on the season and 3-0-0 in ASUN Conference play. The Ospreys have won five of our last six matches.
Romano recorded his second-career brace with a pair of goals in a 3-1 win against West Florida on Sept. 19. Romano has tallied a team-high four goals this season, all of which have come in ASUN Conference play, and two of which have been game-winning goals.
North Florida continues its four-match homestand when it hosts Trinity College of Jacksonville for Senior Night on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
