MACON, Ga. – North Florida Men's Soccer earned its fourth-straight win with a 1-0 victory over Mercer at Betts Stadium on Saturday night.
With the win, North Florida has won four-straight matches and improves to 5-3 on the season.
Redshirt junior
Luciano Natoli notched five saves in 90 minutes in goal. He has played the full time in between the frames in every match this season and posted five or more saves in three matches. Natoli posted the fourth shutout of the season and the eighth of his career.
North Florida got on the board first in the 13th minute off the right foot of senior defender
Jaylen Yearwood who sent a strike into the back of the net. It marked the first career assist for Yearwood. The goal was assisted by junior defender
Brian McManus Jr. and sophomore forward
Kaiss Mansouri. It marked the second-career assist for McManus Jr. and fourth-career assist for Mansouri.
Natoli added a pair of crucial saves in the second half to maintain the margin.
Overall, 14 Ospreys logged action in the match. In addition to Natoli, sophomore forward

The Ospreys led their hosts in corner kicks 5-3, and tied the Bears 13-13 in shots and 5-5 in shots on goal.
North Florida will honor 10 seniors for Senior Night when it hosts Trinity College of Jacksonville on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. at Hodges Stadium on ESPN+.
