FORT MYERS. Fla. – North Florida baseball fell late to Florida Gulf Coast, 4-3, in the series finale at Swanson Stadium on Sunday.
Florida Gulf Coast plated its initial run in the first inning. North Florida tied up the count in the top of the third inning on a two-out base hit from sophomore

Nick Monile drew walks to put runners on first and second base before Collins sent a single back to center field to get the Ospreys on the board.
Ross dealt a 1-2-3 third inning that added to his five strikeouts after the first two frames.
North Florida took the lead in the top of the fifth inning at 2-1 on a two-out double from freshman
Seth Alford that plated Monile from first base. Florida Gulf Coast reclaimed the lead in the bottom of the frame on consecutive RBI doubles.
Alford and Collins each added their second hits of the afternoon to put runners on the corners for North Florida in the seventh inning. Senior
Connor Moore tied the game with a single back up the middle to make it 3-3.
Florida Gulf Coast went on to plate a run in the bottom of the eighth inning to bring the score to its final margin.
